Մի քանի օրինակներ, որոնցով հասարակությունը ողջունում է կանանց նկատմամբ ատելությունը. Ինչպե՞ս պայքարել դրա դեմ Հասարակությունը կանանց չի սիրում և հետևաբար նաև նրանց հեշտոցները։ Շատ վաղ տարիքից մեզ սովորեցնում են, որ հեշտոցները կամ կանանց սեռական օրգանները չգիտես ինչու վատն են և կեղտոտ/խուժան են։ Ինչպես նաև բնականաբար տղամարդկանցը։ Այս գաղափարները սոցիալականացման համար գալիս են համընդհանուր օգտագործվող լեզվամտածողությունից , սեռական բնույթի կարծրատիպերից , սոցիալական նորմերից և օգտագործվող տերմիններից։ Սակայն փաստն այն է , որ հեշտոցները մշակութային ատելության թիրախն են և գլխավոր ատելության օբյեկտը համեմատած տղամարդկանց օրգանների և սեռի հետ, քանի որ տղամարդկանց սեռական օրգանը դիտվում է որպես հարձակվող ավելի շուտ, քան պասիվ և նվաստացուցիչ՝ ինչպես հեշտոցը։ Մենք կարող ենք սրա դեմն առնել լինելով ավելի կրթված և տեղեկացված։ Եթե ցանկանում են վիրավորել որևե մեկին ավելի ճիշտ կլինի արտահայտել կոնկրետ հատկանիշ և կոնկրետ մարդու անուն, քանի որ այլ բառեր ու ածանցներ օգտագործ...

Biography Early life Gloria Jean Watkins was born on September 25, 1952 in  Hopkinsville ,  Kentucky . She grew up in a  working class  family with five sisters and one brother. Her father, Veodis Watkins, was a custodian and her mother, Rosa Bell Watkins, was a homemaker. Throughout her childhood, she was an avid reader. Her early education took place in  racially segregated   public schools , and she wrote of great adversities when making the transition to an integrated  school, where teachers and students were predominantly white. She graduated from  Hopkinsville High School  in  Hopkinsville , Kentucky , earned her  B.A.  in English from  Stanford University  in 1973 and her  M.A.  in English from the  University of Wisconsin–Madison  in 1976. The sexual revolution in the 1970s introduced the differentiation between identity and sexual behavior for women. Many women took advantage of their new social freedom to try new experiences. Women who previously identified as heterosexual tried sleeping with women, though many maintained their heterosexual identity.However, with the advent of second wave feminism, lesbian as a political identity grew to describe a social philosophy among women, often overshadowing sexual desire as a defining trait. TOWARD AN UNDERSTANDING OF MALE VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN One man's violence against one woman may seem to result from his individual psychological problems, sexual frustration, unbearable life pressures, or some innate urge toward aggression. Though each of these "reasons" has been used to explain and even justify male violence, they oversimplify a complex reality: men have been taught to relate to the world in terms of dominance and control, and they have been taught that violence is an acceptable method of maintaining control, resolving conflicts, and expressing anger.
